Custom Shaving Brushes

Here at Rad Dinosaur Creations, I also really enjoy making custom shaving brushes, as time allows. If you have a color/shape/style/material in mind, please use the Contact form to tell me about your idea. I'll do my best to bring the idea to life.

Custom orders (obviously) can take time to create. I try to be accurate with my timelines, but life happens and this is not a full-time endeavor for me. Please be patient and trust the process. If you are trying to meet a certain deadlines or dates to have a custom brush in hand, please let me know upfront and I will tell you if I'm able to ensure that happens.

Because I love bringing my own ideas to life Custom Brushes are not offered at all times.

Pricing

Prices of custom brushes varies, depending on the time and materials needed to complete the brush.

Rad Dinosaur Creations Resin Handles: 

Can be made in any color under the sun. I'm pretty good at matching colors but it's more art than science, so some variations of colors could occur if we are trying to match an exact color. With resin, I can do swirling colors, solid colors, a different color base and ferrule. Let me know your idea and I'll tell you if I think I can make it!

Custom resin handles start at $75 and go up, depending on the brush.

Rad Dinosaur Creations Wood and Segmented Wood Handles:

Wood & segmented handles can be as low as $70, or as high as $200. It really just depends on the handle. Some exotic wood can get very spendy and layers/inlays add a lot of time. Please keep in mind: wood is a natural material, so no two pieces are the same and I do not/can not have every single type of wood available. Here are some examples of wood handles I've made:

     

     

     

Rad Dinosaur Creations Hybrids:

Hybrid Handles are a mix of burl wood and resin that can create tiny "landscapes" in the handle. They are extremely time consuming and start at $150, and (again) can go up, depending on the handle. Here's some examples of hybrids:

     

     

     

Let me know what you're thinking of, we can talk through it and I'll give you a quote to make it. If that sounds good, then you'll pay for the handle upfront, and I'll get to work. If (for any reason) I'm not able to bring your vision to life after a few tries, I'll refund your money and we can still remain friends.

Most important thing to know about Custom Brushes:

I am a human being and I do this because I love to make brushes. If you are rude, unreasonable, or act like a jerk, I reserve the right to not work with you. If that happens, I'll refund your money and you can lose my number.
